Biography
Christian Steiger, born 1973 in Freiburg, Germany, has been Managing Director of Lexware since 2019. He studied computer science, produced electronic music from 1997 to 2007 under seventeen project names, and in 1997 wrote the soundtrack of the Euro-Mir rollercoaster at Europa-Park together with Ben Klug, which has run for thirty seasons. He joined the Haufe Group in 1999, founded the live-streaming company Zaplive in 2008, returned in 2010 to build the Blue Ocean division, took part in Stanford’s ME310 design-thinking programme and started lexoffice as employee number zero. In 2026 he published the Lena Principle, a freely available framework that treats AI as a mandated co-CEO for the self-employed. He lives in Freiburg and is the father of a daughter.
